South Texas braces for Tropical Storm Beryl

CORPUS CHRISTUS, Texas – FRIDAY JULY 3 – 9:00 PM CT – As Tropical Storm Beryl moves into the Gulf of Mexico, the once Category 5 hurricane is expected to strengthen again before eventually making landfall along the Texas Gulf Coast.

While locals prepare using more than 14,000 sandbags made by city workers in Corpus Christi, vacationers on the barrier islands are soaking up every bit of sun they can get.
