Kris Jenner Reveals Tumor Is on Her Ovaries on ‘The Kardashians’

Kris Jenner tearfully opened up to her family about her health struggles on Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians.”

The 68-year-old momager let her daughters Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian and Kendall Jenner know during their trip to Aspen that she needs to undergo serious surgery.

“I went to the doctor and I had my scan and they found a cyst and a small tumor on my ovary,” Kris said, sitting at the table with her boyfriend Corey Gamble at her side.

“Dr. A said I had to have my ovaries removed,” she added. “I’m just really emotional about it because you guys came in handy.”

Kris, who has six children from her marriages to Robert Kardashian and Caitlyn Jenner (then Bruce Jenner), explained in a confessional how she feels about removing her ovaries.

“I’m emotional about it because that’s where all my children were conceived and raised. In my belly,” she said. “It’s a very sacred place for me.”

The group called Kourtney Kardashian, who was at home with her four children, to update her on her mother’s health.

“I’m having surgery because I have a tumor on my ovaries, so they’re going to remove it,” Kris told her eldest daughter.

“The emotional part for me is that this is over,” she told the group.

Kim, 43, expressed her condolences to Kris in a confessional.

“Having surgery and removing your ovaries is a huge deal. I feel for her,” the SKIMS founder said. “I can’t imagine being in that situation and how scared you would be to go through something like that.”

Kris told her daughters that she’s “not nervous about being put to sleep. I’m not nervous about Dr. A — she’s the best doctor in the world. But then you go and do it, and it’s so real.”

Kourtney, 45, said she understood her mother’s emotions because she “would feel the same way” if she were in that situation.

“It’s like your feminine power. It doesn’t mean that it takes away from who she is or what she’s been through, but I would feel this sentimental feeling of what it’s created,” Kourtney said.

Trying to hold back tears, Kris told her family, “It’s also a part of getting older and it’s a sign that we’re done with this part of your life. It’s a whole chapter that’s just closed.”

Kendall, 28, took a mature approach to the situation.

“I understand her emotion behind it. I understand that it’s sad because they’ve brought all of her children into the world, which is totally justified,” the second-youngest KarJenner sister said in a confessional.

“But what do we actually use them for? If they’re potentially hurting you, let’s get them out of there,” she added.

After Kris and Kim hugged, the girls joked that they should throw their mom an “ovarian farewell party.”

“I’m going to be okay. I’ve got you,” Kris told her children.

Gamble, 43, cheered up Kris by giving her a new black winter coat.

That put a smile on Kris’ face, as the family ended their holiday on a happy note.

The moment Kris tells her loved ones about her tumor was announced back in May when Hulu released the trailer for Season 5 of “The Kardashians.”

Her mother, MJ Campbell, 89, is a breast cancer survivor.

In 2018, Kris posted a message on Instagram urging her fans to get mammograms to detect breast cancer.

“My mom MJ is a breast cancer survivor and dozens of my friends are too,” she said. “Do this in honor of your loved ones. I know we all have someone in our lives who has been through cancer. Love you!!!”
