The Mega Millions jackpot from Friday’s drawing has risen to $162 million after no one claimed the jackpot on Tuesday.
The drawing of the winning numbers is scheduled for Friday at 11:00 p.m. (ET). Below are the results.
If a lucky player wins Friday’s drawing, he or she could take home an estimated cash value of $75.5 million in a lump sum, the lottery said.
So far this year, two people have won the Mega Millions jackpot: Earlier in March, a player in New Jersey won a whopping $1.13 billion, and earlier this month, another player in Illinois won $552 million.

How do you play Mega Millions?
To purchase a ticket, you will need to go to your local grocery store, gas station, or convenience store. In some states, you can also purchase tickets online.
To play, you have to choose six numbers. Five numbers are white balls from 1 to 70. The golden Mega Ball is a number between 1 and 25.
If you think the odds are slim, ask for a “Quick Pick” or an “Easy Pick.” The computer will randomly generate the numbers for you.
Players can add the “Megaplier” for $1, which can increase non-major prize winnings by two, three, four or five times. The Megaplier is drawn before the Mega Millions numbers on Tuesdays and Fridays.
